Admission Before Confirmation - Open Meeting
Tuesday 15th September, 7.30pm, at Ripley
We are exploring how best to allow children to receive communion, before confirmation. This is an open meeting for anyone interested to come along and comment on the draft roadmap, to tweak it an improve it, before it is submitted for approval by the bishop. An informal group for discussion and exploration. Every couple of months we get together to discuss a book we've been reading. This time it will be 'The Shadow of the Galilean' by Gerd Theissen - a narrative exploration of the impact the life of Jesus had on his contemporaries. Having read the book helps, but if you're interested in coming along anyway, please feel free.

Markington School PTA invite all new reception parents for Coffee and Cake, on the first day of term. We will be providing hot drinks, cake, tissues, and friendly faces to chat to and ask any questions. In Markington Church.

Ripley Cafe Dates
Coffee and homemade cakes, at wonderfully reasonable prices - all very welcome!All profits from 50:50 cafes are split between the church, and the charity of the week. If you have a charity you would like to run a cafe for, please be in touch!
